(A 7-step Process)
(1)   Restorative Doctor
Provide accurate full-arch maxillary and mandibular silicone impressions, bite registration, study model and full-facephotograph. Identify treatment objectives with ROE's work authorization.
(2)   ROE Dental Laboratory
Create a diagnostic work-up (5 days in lab) of the proposed final tooth position.
Once approved by the general dentist, a CT scan appliance (3 days in lab) is fabricated.
(3)   Restorative Doctor
Verify the fit of the scan appliance. If the fit is not ideal, adjust accordingly or capture new impression. If the fit is perfect, refer the patient, with the appliance, to imaging.
(4)   Imaging Center, Radiology Interpretation, Implant Planning
Record CT scan. After completing your first scan call ROE while patient is still in
the chair to confirm the scan accuracy!
Upload the DICOM file to ROE using www.dentalimplantplanning.com . It is critical that the scan follow criteria specific to the
planning software i.e. iDent, SimPlant etc. The imaging center can download the specific protocol via the above web site or
contact ROE. We would recommend that a certified Oral & Maxillofacial Radiologist interpret the case to rule out pathology, if
needed a radiologist from our centers or Beam Readers, Inc. www.beamreaders.com will read the volumetric data.
(5)   ROE Dental Laboratory
Preplan case using planning software (3 days in lab). ROE ensures implant location meets esthetic and functional requirements
within the confines of the existing bone structure as predetermined by the diagnostic wax-up.
(6)   Restorative Dentist and Surgeon
Attends a live interactive online meeting - gotomeeting.com - to modify and approve the surgical plan for guide fabrication.
Specialist completes and returns the drill sequence and case-approval Surgical Guide Order Form to ROE.
(7)   ROE Dental Laboratory
Create the surgical guide(s) for iDent (3 days in-lab) or EasyGuide, SimPlant, NobleGuide (12 days in-lab) and return for surgery.
